Premium pine hydrosol from the “Breath of the Volga” brand: steam-distilled from the same hand-picked pine needles as our essential oil, no chemicals or additives. Our own production with quality control at every stage, from harvesting to bottling.
Ingredients
Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) needle distillate, pine essential oil (contains α-pinene, limonene, borneol), organic acids, flavonoids, tannins, vitamins C, E and B group, manganese, iron.
Production method
Steam distillation – the same process and the same raw material as the pine essential oil. The difference is that a hydrosol isn’t oil but water: it holds a small trace of the same aromatic compounds.
Properties
Refreshing – energizes and leaves skin looking fresh. Toning – firms and tones the skin. Disinfecting – helps cleanse skin and freshen indoor air. Also has a general strengthening effect, supports the immune system, aids the body’s natural cleansing and supports the respiratory system.
How to use
- Face: tones, hydrates, tightens pores, reduces oily shine and inflammation.
- Sauna: a refreshing face and body spray between steam rounds, cools the skin and eases redness.
- Body: soothes skin after sun exposure, deodorizes, relieves tired legs.
- Hair: spray on the roots to reduce oiliness and add freshness.
- Home: freshens indoor air, removes tobacco and mildew odors, disinfects.
Contraindications: individual intolerance.
Storage
Shelf life: 12 months. Use within 6 months of opening. Store away from light.
