Scots Pine Essential Oil

Premium pine essential oil from the “Breath of the Volga” brand: steam-distilled from hand-picked pine needles, no chemicals, synthetic fragrances or fillers. Our own production with quality control at every stage, from harvesting to bottling. Each 10 ml bottle takes about 10 kg of fresh pine needles, hand-poured into dark glass with a dropper.

Ingredients

Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) essential oil, 100% natural.

Production method

Steam distillation: steam passes through fresh pine needles and carries the aromatic compounds with it, and once it cools, the oil separates from the water.

Properties

Antiseptic – helps fight bacteria and fungus. Expectorant – eases breathing and helps with coughs and colds. Invigorating – energizes and relieves fatigue.

How to use

• Sauna: 5-10 drops in a ladle of water, splash gently over the hot stones. For a stronger scent, add a couple of drops to the wooden surfaces.
• Aromatherapy: 5-10 drops in an aroma lamp for 15-20 minutes.
• Massage: 4-6 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil.
• Aromatic bath: 5-7 drops, first dissolved in a dispersant or 1 tablespoon of milk.
• Skin and hair care: 1-2 drops per 5 ml of cream or shampoo.
• Hair strengthening: 5 drops per 10 ml of burdock oil, leave on for 30-40 minutes.

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Do not apply undiluted to the skin: phototoxicity is low, but irritation is possible.
• Do a patch test before use.
• Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Keep away from fire: flammable liquid.
• Not for children under 3, pregnant or breastfeeding women unless approved by a doctor.

Contraindications: individual intolerance.

Storage

Shelf life: 2 years. Use within 6 months of opening. Store away from light.
